CONDITION





^ The engine coolant level too low warning light is illuminated.

^ The coolant level in the reservoir is correct.

^ The complaint can be reproduced.

^ No DTCs are stored in the control unit.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Deposits or coolant residues obstruct the electric transition on the sensor in the reservoir. This affects the coolant level display.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

SERVICE

Replace the coolant reservoir and add two silicate cartridges (part number 4E0 121176) in the reservoir.
