Luggage Compartment Side Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)









1 Luggage compartment trim

• Removal:

- Remove luggage compartment floor mat. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Liner ] Luggage Compartment Liner.

- Remove rear cross panel trim. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ] Rear Cross Panel Trim.

- Remove rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Rear Seat Backrest, Fixed ] Rear Seats.

- Position tie-downs - 5 - upward (1x or Qty. 2, depending on version).

- Remove two Phillips-head screws - 6 - in tie-downs.

- Unclip the clip - 3 -.

- Disengage clip - 3 - from tab.

- Disengage three clips - 4 -.

- If necessary, remove cover - 2 -.

- Pull off luggage compartment trim - 1 - upward.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

- After installation has been completed, pull tailgate rubber over trim - 1 -.

3 Clip

4 Clips (Qty. 3)

5 Tie-down

6 Screws, (Qty. 2)

• Tightening specification 4 Nm
