Mirror Adjusting Unit Mount Cover

Removing






- Remove the exterior rearview mirror housing. Refer to => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Housing ] Exterior Rearview Mirror Housing.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Disengage the retaining tab - 2 - and remove the cover - 1 - on the mirror adjusting unit mount.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exterior Mirror Assembly Overview, Vehicles through May 2009 ] Exterior Mirror Assembly Overview, Vehicles Through May 2009.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the exterior rearview mirror housing => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Housing ] Exterior Rearview Mirror Housing.

Removing






- Remove the exterior rearview mirror housing => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Housing ] Exterior Rearview Mirror Housing.

- Remove the bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.

- Disengage the tabs and hooks - arrows A -.

- Push the cover - 1 - down enough so that the tabs disengage and then release the hooks - 4 - - arrow B -.

- Remove the cover on the mirror adjustment unit bracket.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exterior Mirror Assembly Overview, Vehicles from June, 2009 ] Exterior Mirror Assembly Overview, Vehicles From June, 2009.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the exterior rearview mirror housing.
