Electrical Sun Shade on Rear Window

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)









1 Rear Shelf

2 Electric sun shade connector

3 Electric sun shade

• Removing

- Drive sun shade - 3 - in.

- Remove rear shelf with sun shade => [ Rear Shelf with Sun Shade ].

- Pull sun shade - 3 - out about 50 mm at covers with wheel - 6 -.

- Clamp an appropriate object between sun shade - 3 - and rear shelf - 1 -.

- Remove bolts - 5 - (Qty. 2).

- Pull cover with wheel - 6 - at left and right out in - direction of arrow -.

- Remove wiring harness on rear shelf - 1 -.

- Remove nuts - 4 - (8x).

- Remove sun shade - 3 - from rear shelf - 1 -.

• Installing

- Installation takes in reverse order of removal.

- Check electric sun shade - 3 - function.

4 Nuts, (Qty. 8)

• Tightening specification 4 Nm

5 Screws, (Qty. 2)

• Tightening specification 0.6 Nm

6 Cover with wheel

• => [ (Item 5) Screws, (Qty. 2) ]
