1 Roof Rail

• Remove A-pillar; B-pillar; C-pillar and D-pillar trim.=> Body Interior 70 Removal and Installation

2 Seal

• Belongs to roof rail delivery casing.

3 Adjusting element

• Slid into roof rail in installation position before installing.

• Must contact roof with slight pre-tension.

4 Hex nut

• Observe tightening sequence from inside towards outside.

• Tighten to 10 Nm.

Installing roof rail





1 Roof Rail

- Adjusting elements must be slid into roof and lie in installation position.

- Place railing on roof and threaded pins through adjusting elements.

- Observe nut tightening sequence and tighten from inside towards outside to 10 Nm.

2 Adjusting element

• Insert front adjusting element into hole provided and slide forward into installation position.

• Insert rear adjusting element into hole provided and slide back into installation position.

• Position adjusting element so that it makes contact, with light pre-tension of 0.3 Nm.

3 Hex nut

• Observe tightening sequence from inside towards outside.

• 10 Nm

- Adjusting elements must be slid into roof and lie in installation position.

- Place railing on roof and threaded pins through adjusting elements.

- Observe nut tightening sequence and tighten from inside towards outside to 10 Nm.

2 Adjusting element

• Insert rear adjusting element into hole provided and slide back into installation position.
