AFFECTED VEHICLES

CONDITION
The customer may report:

^ A bump is felt from the transmission or rear of the vehicle near 15 mph when braking to a stop.

^ A "ping" noise is heard from the under the vehicle near 15 mph when
braking to a stop.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

ECM software update needed.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

New software in the control module (J623) addressed the condition.

SERVICE

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.





2. Update the ECM using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
