Engine Contaminants

Seal off any openings when working on the intake or exhaust systems to prevent any contaminants from getting into the engine.

If there is damage to a cylinder bank, then inspect the intake and exhaust systems as well as the combustion chamber of the opposite cylinder bank for any contaminants.
