Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Improvised tool

- Use 0.7 mm thick metal strip to make an improvised tool with the dimensions shown.

Removing





- Guide offset end of improvised tool - 1 - under side of trim - 2 - as shown.

- Release trim retainer tabs by pulling improvised tool in direction of arrow.

- Repeat procedure on opposite side.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.





- Squeeze fasteners - arrows - and take Light Recognition Sensor (G399) - item 2 - out of mount.

Install in reverse order
