Front Parking Aid Sensors

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

Outer Sensors:

- Using a screwdriver - 1 - release the hooks in the direction of - arrow A -.

- Remove the intake air grille - 2 - on the bumper cover in the direction of - arrow B -.

- Reach through the opening in the bumper cover and expand both tabs in the direction of the - arrows - while pushing the sensor - 2 - from the outside toward the inside at the same time.






- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - on the sensor.

Inner Sensor:






- Remove front bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.

- Press both retainer tabs to the side in the direction of the - arrows - and press the sensor - 2 - through from the outside towards the inside.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - on the sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Inner Sensor:

- Install the front bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.
