Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Pry off the cover for the - 1 - MMI screen on the corners using the (3409) in the direction of the - arrow -.

- Disconnect the connector and remove the MMI screen cover.

- Release the clips in the direction of the - A arrows - and remove the emergency flasher button (E229) - 1 - from the MMI screen cover - 2 - in the direction of the - B arrow -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press the MMI screen cover into the mounting points until the clips engage completely.
