Condition
Headlight switch knob is pressed in. The switch functions correctly.
Technical Background
The headlight switch knob was designed with a normal position and a pushed-in position (Figures 1 and 2). This is a deliberate design feature designed to avoid injuries in the event of a collision.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
1. Pull out the knob and return it to the original position.
2. Explain the safety feature to the customer.

Required Parts and Tools
Do not replace the switch as it will be debited.
