High/Low Beam Switch-Over Control Circuit Board

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment, refer to => [ Headlamps, Adjusting ] Headlamps, Adjusting.

Danger to life due to high voltage.

Removing






- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (ND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove headlamp. Refer to => [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

- Release locking slide - 2 - in - direction of arrow - and remove housing cover - 1 - from headlamp housing.

- Release retaining spring - 3 - in - direction of arrow - and remove printed circuit board - 1 - for low/high beam switch-over control from headlamp housing.






- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

- Remove low/high beam switch-over control printed circuit board from headlamp housing.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Close the housing lid.

- Secure housing cover using locking slide.

- Install headlamp. Refer to => [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

- Connect battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
