Catalyst Temperature Sensor 1 (G20)

Removing

- Carefully pull the engine cover - arrows - off the 4 bolts one after the other.






- Disconnect the - 1 - catalyst temperature sensor 1 orange connector and the - 2 - exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 (G495) brown connector.






- Remove catalyst temperature sensor 1 - 2 -.






• To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

• Ignore - 1, 3, 4 and 5 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exhaust Temperature Control Overview ] Exhaust Temperature Control Overview.

- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past; hot bolt paste, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Note installation position:

• Dimension - a - = 25 mm between the catalyst temperature sensor 1 - 1 - and the fuel lines - 2 -.
