Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2

Removing

- Carefully pull the engine cover - arrows - off the 4 bolts one after the other.






- Disconnect the - 1 - exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 (G448) connector.






- Free up the electrical wire.

• Ignore - 2, 3 and 4 -.

- Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 - 3 -.






• To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

• Ignore - 1, 2, 4 and 5 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exhaust Temperature Control Overview ] Exhaust Temperature Control Overview.

- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past; hot bolt paste, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Note installation position:

• Dimension - a - = 20 mm between the exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 - 2 - and the NOX sensor (G295) - 1 -.
