Letting the high pressure pump run dry will destroy it.

It is necessary to bleed the fuel system before starting the engine for the first time if the fuel filter, fuel lines or the auxiliary fuel pump (V393) were replaced on vehicles with engine code, CATA through May 2010.

- Bleed the fuel system.






1 Electrical Harness Connector

2 Nut

9 Nm

3 Bracket

For auxiliary fuel pump (V393)

4 Rubber Bracket

Installed with the nubs into the bracket - 3 -

5 Secure the Fuel Line from the Connector Flange of the Fuel Tank Using Hose Clamps Appropriate for the Model Type

6 Auxiliary Fuel Pump (V393)

Installed with the nubs into the bracket - 3 -

8 Secure the Fuel Line from the Connector Flange of the Fuel Tank Using Hose Clamps Appropriate for the Model Type
