A-Pillar Trim, Upper Overview


• Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components General Safety Precautions ] .

• Do not clamp the head curtain airbag when installing upper A-pillar trim - 1 -.






1 Upper A-pillar Trim

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ A-Pillar Upper Trim ] A-Pillar Upper Trim.

2 Cover

• With the Airbag symbol.

• Carefully unclip.

• Hangs from trim and cannot be detached.

3 Screw, Self-Locking

• 3 Nm

• Always replace if removed.

• Threaded screw holes must always be cleaned (for example, with thread cutter).

4 Adapter

• Tab - arrow A - must be inserted in recess - arrow B - in body (A-pillar).

5 Head Curtain Airbag

6 Clips

• Quantity: 2

• Replace if damaged or deformed.
