Removing


Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components General Safety Precautions ] .

- Remove 2nd row seat. Refer to => [ 2nd Row, 2 Seater Overview ] 2nd Row, 2 Seater Overview.

- Remove Multibox. Refer to => [ Multibox ] Multibox.

- Remove rear floor covering - 5 -. Refer to => [ Floor Covering Overview ] Floor Covering Overview.






- Remove the bolts - 1 -.

- Remove nut - 3 -.

- Remove brackets - 2 - and - 4 -.

Installing


Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components General Safety Precautions ] .

• The screws and nuts are micro-encapsulated and must be replaced each time they are removed.

• Before installing new screws and a new nut, threads on corresponding nut or threaded pin must be cleaned.

Install in reverse order of removal.
