Seat Heating Element

When removing and installing covers and padding on sport seat, the only differences from power and memory seats are in the seat height adjustment and seat heating element area.

Removing

- Remove cover from seat pan, refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery ] Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery and seat height adjuster, refer to => [ Seat Height Adjustment Cover and Padding ] Seat Height Adjustment Cover and Padding.

- Cut wire - 3 - off of old heating element - 1 -.






Installing

- Align new heating element - 1 - on seat padding.






- Remove protective foil and attach heating element to padding surface.

- Route connecting wires at locations - 2 - in bottom of gaps, avoiding crossover.

Ensure heating element is completely bonded at front of seat height adjuster padding - arrow A - and inner sides - arrow B - and - arrow C -.

• It is attached over old heating element.
