Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) - Comfort Version







Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) - Comfort Version

Installed only in vehicles with Comfort version A/C system

On vehicles with Basic version of Climatronic Control Module (J255) , left and right footwell doors are operated by the Left Footwell Door Motor (both left and right doors are connected to each other via a shaft, motor is installed at right on heating & A/C unit).

Left Footwell Door Motor - Basic version, removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Footwell Door Motor (V109) (or Left Footwell Door Motor (V108)) ] Right Footwell Door Motor (V109) (or Left Footwell Door Motor (V108)).

Left Footwell Door Motor Position Sensor (G139) is installed in Left Footwell Door Motor.

Removing

- Remove retaining plate - C - with control motors (V108) and (V158) => [ Retaining Plate With Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) and Left Temperature Door Motor (V158) ] Retaining Plate With Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) and Left Temperature Door Motor (V158).






- Mark the control motors if necessary versions vary. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog.

- Remove bolts - D - from Left Footwell Door Motor - A - and remove motor.

Installing

Remove control motor on retaining plate.

- Install retaining plate - C - with control motors (V108) and (V158) => [ Retaining Plate With Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) and Left Temperature Door Motor (V158) ] Retaining Plate With Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) and Left Temperature Door Motor (V158).

Check the lever position of the control motors before installing retaining plate, the retaining plate can only be installed correctly when it is located in the service position, refer to => [ Retaining Plate With Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) and Left Temperature Door Motor (V158) ] Retaining Plate With Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) and Left Temperature Door Motor (V158).

- Install the removed components again in reverse order.

- Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and erase DTCs displayed if necessary using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding".

- If necessary, perform a basic setting and output diagnostic test mode on the A/C system using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding".
