Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hook (3438)

Removing






• Removal and installation are same for right and left.

• The instrument panel vent has a hole on the side for attaching the (3438).

- Position instrument panel vent blades so they are horizontal.

- Carefully pull the instrument panel vent out of the installation opening - arrow - on side using (3438).

- Disconnect electrical connector on instrument panel vent, if equipped.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Press instrument panel vent until locking tabs engage in installation opening.
