- Start engine and let run at idle.

- Seal tailpipes with cloths or plug for the duration of the leak test.

- Check for leaks by listening at connections of cylinder head/primary catalytic converter, exhaust manifold/front exhaust pipe etc.

- Repair leaks detected.
