Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051)

The Satellite Radio (R146) is under the right side of the rear shelf.

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the (VAS 5051) to do so.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove rear shelf.

- Disconnect the connectors - 1 - and - 2 - on the satellite radio - 3 -.





- Remove the bolts - arrows - on the satellite radio - 3 -.

- Remove the satellite radio - 3 - from the retaining plate.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Activate satellite radio, refer to => [ Satellite Radio, Activating ] Radios Overview.

Tightening Specifications, refer to => [ Radio System Overview ] Radios Overview.
