Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1332)





The R8 bucket seat does not have a side airbag, so the side airbag connection in the vehicle wiring harness is equipped with a terminating resistor.

The terminal resistance is a component of the wiring harness.





1 Front Seat

Removal

- Push front seat - 1 - fully upward and to the rear.

- Remove front bolts - 3 - (quantity: 2).

- Move seat forward.

- Remove rear bolts - 4 - (quantity: 2).

- Tip front seat - 1 - back.

- Disconnect electrical harness connectors. Refer to => [ Connectors, Disconnecting and Connecting ] All Seats Overview.

- Remove seat.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

2 Seat Rail Covers

Right front and left rear are identical

Left front and right rear are identical

3 Front Bolts (Quantity: 2)

50 Nm

4 Rear Bolts (Quantity: 2)

50 Nm
