Service Interval Display through MY 2008
- Follow these steps in sequential order.
• Connect VAS 5051/5052.
• Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions
• Go to - function/component selection
• Service Work
• Combination Processor, reset WIV.
• Follow the guided program.
• Follow the guided programs function description.
• WIV = Wartungsintervall - Verlangerung (Maintenance Interval Extension)
Service Interval Display from MY 2009
• From MY 2009, all vehicles follow the new maintenance concept as with the Audi A5.
- Follow these steps in sequential order.
• Connect VAS 5051/5052.
• Guided Functions
• Service Work
• Follow the guided program.
Maximum Values, Adapting
- Follow these steps in sequential order.
• Connect VAS 5051/5052.
• Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions
• Go to - function/component selection
• Service Work
• Combination Processor, adjusting maximum WIV value.
• Follow the guided program.
• WIV = Wartungsintervall - Verlangerung (Maintenance Interval Extension)
• Follow the guided programs function description.
Service Display, Resetting after Service without VAS 5051/5052
• If the service display is reset manually via the instrument cluster, it automatically sets itself to fixed interval.
- Switch the ignition on.
- With button 1 pressed, the message "SERVICE" appears.
- Press button again within 5 seconds until the message "SERVICE IN.. KM.. DAYS" appears.
- Service has been reset.
