Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Assembly Overview





1 Metal Valve Body

• Install the valve with the seal.

• Delivered complete.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Metal Valve Body ] Service and Repair.

2 Valve Core

• Replace valve insert with every tire change.

3 Rim

• Tires, mounting and dismounting, refer to => [ Tire, Changing ] Service and Repair.

4 Left Front Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (G222), Right Front (G223), Left Rear (G224) and Right Rear (G225)

• Sensor must be replaced completely.

• Remaining battery life, temperature and pressure can be read via diagnosis with Vehicle Diagnostic, Measuring and Information System (VAS 5051 B)

5 TORX (T20) Micro-Encapsulated Bolt

• Tightening specification: 4 Nm

• Always replace after removal.

• Is only available with metal valve as replacement part.

6 Union Nut

• Tightening specification: 6 Nm

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Metal Valve Body ] Service and Repair.

7 Beveled Washer
