Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair

Oil Level Thermal Sensor

Removing

- Install protective body covers. Refer to => [ Protective Body Covers, Installing ] Protective Body Covers, Installing.

- Remove the left - 1 - and right - 3 - engine compartment trim.





- Remove the engine cover - 2 -.

- Remove the air filter housing.





- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.





- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the Oil Level Thermal Sensor (G266) from the oil tank.

Installing

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Oil Cooler and Oil Tank Assembly Overview ] Oil Cooler and Oil Tank Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace O-ring.

- Install air filter housing.

- Install the engine compartment trim.
