BANG and OLUFSEN Speakers, in Instrument Panel

Center Mid/High Range Speaker (R158), Removing and Installing

Refer to => [ Left Front Midrange Speaker, in Instrument Panel ]. Left Front Midrange Speaker, In Instrument Panel

Left Front Treble Speaker, Removing and Installing

• Removal and installation of Left Front Treble Speaker (R20) and Right Front Treble Speaker (R22) are identical.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove indirect ventilation trim panel.

Panel - 1 - can be removed from left front treble speaker - 2 - to prevent damage.





- Remove screws - arrows - (2 Nm).

- Grasp the left front treble speaker - 1 - by hand and carefully pull it in direction of arrow - A - with a turning motion in - direction of arrow - - B - out of instrument panel - 2 -.





- Continue pulling left front treble speaker - 2 - in - direction of arrow A - with a turning motion in - direction of arrow B - out of instrument panel until electrical connection - 1 - is accessible.





- Disconnect electrical connection - 1 - and secure it from slipping off in the instrument panel.

- Remove left front treble speaker (R20).

Installing

- Install in reverse order.
