Balance Spring, Disengaging and Engaging

Disengaging

- Disengage the left and right balance springs - A - first from the guide bolts - B - with pliers.





- Pull the balance spring - A - then out of the brake pads - C -.

Engaging

- Insert the left and right balance springs - A - into the hole in the bottom of the brake pads first - C -.





- Then engage the left and right balance springs - A - into the guide bolts - B - with pliers.


Make sure the balance springs are installed correctly to the guide bolts and brake pads.
