Read and observe general information before servicing.

• Use Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit (VAS 5234) to extract brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir.

• Before removing a brake caliper or disconnecting a brake hose from a brake caliper, install the brake pedal loading device (V.A.G 1869/2) , to prevent the brake fluid reservoir from draining.

• When siphoning brake fluid, always use a bleeder bottle that is used exclusively for brake fluid.

• Make sure that brake fluid cannot leak out because it will damage components and the paint.

• Always use complete repair kit.

Brake fluid is poisonous. NEVER siphon brake fluid with your mouth!
