Engine, Securing to Assembly Stand

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Lifting Sling (2024 A)

• Shop Crane (VAS 6100)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

• Transmission separated from engine.

- Hook the (2024 A) to engine and to the (VAS 6100).






• To be aligned to the center of gravity of the engine assembly, the hole rails of the lifting hook must be inserted as shown in the illustration.

Lifting hooks and alignment pins on the engine sling must be secured with securing pins - arrows -.

- Lift the engine off from the (T10012) using the (VAS 6100).

Secure engine on the (VAS 6095) when working on engine.
