Ignition Assembly Overview






1 Knock Sensor I (G61)

• Contacts gold plated

2 Knock Sensor 2 (G66)

• Contacts gold plated

3 Ignition Coil with Power Output Stage

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Ignition Coils with Power Output Stages ] Service and Repair

• To remove, use the ignition coil puller (T40039)

4 Spark Plug

• 30 Nm

• To remove, use the Spark Plug Removal Tool (3122 B)

5 Bolt

• 20 Nm

• Tightening specifications affect function of Knock Sensor

6 Bolt

• 10 Nm

7 Camshaft Position Sensor (G40)

• Contacts gold plated

8 O-Ring

• If damaged, replace O-ring
