• Torque Wrench 40-200 Nm (V.A.G 1332)
• Shock absorber set (T10001)
• magnetic ride Shock Absorber Prism (T40129) (not pictured)
1 - Shock Absorbers
• only shock absorbers with the same part number may be installed on the left and right
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Shock Absorber ] Shock Absorber
• There are different suspension versions. Refer to => [ PR Number Explanations ] Application and ID and to the vehicle data label.
• faulty shock absorbers must be vented and emptied before disposal => [ Rear Gas-Filled Strut, Venting ] Rear Gas-Filled Strut, Venting

• On vehicles with electronically-controlled damping (Audi magnetic ride), the control position must be reprogrammed each time a shock absorber is replaced

• Always replace if removed.

• It is not possible to remove without damaging it.

Magnetic Ride Shock Absorber
- Tighten piston rod in vise as shown in the illustration using magnetic ride Shock Absorber Prism (T40129) - 1 -.
- Remove the cover - 3 - upward and disconnect the connector - 2 - from piston rod. It is not possible to remove it without damaging it.
