1 Cover and Upholstery

Removing

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Bench Seat.

- Remove 1/3 backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview ] Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview.

- Remove the headrests. Refer to => [ Outer Headrests ] Outer Headrests.

- Lift latch trim - 5 - off.

- Remove peripheral retaining strips - 7 -.

- Pry cover over outer bearing - 6 - (quantity: 2).

- Raise cover and upholstery - 1 -.

- Press headrest guides - 2 - and - 3 - upward and out.

- Remove cover and upholstery - 1 -.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install headrest guide with button at left.

- After installing latch trim - 5 -, ensure red lever - 4 - moves easily.
