Level Control System Sensor Overview

• The level control system sensor is only available as a replacement part together with the connecting link and upper and lower mounting plates.

• Replacing with subframe installed. Refer to => [ Level Control System Sensor ] Level Control System Sensor.

2 - Lower Transverse Link

3 - Bolt

• 5 Nm

• The lower bracket for the vehicle level sensor is attached to the lower transverse link by two bolts - 3 - on vehicles with electronic damping (Audi magnetic ride).

• The lower bracket for the vehicle level sensor is attached to the lower transverse link with 3 bolts - 3 - on vehicles with headlamp range control.

4 - Level Control System Sensor

• Complete with components.

• The lever - arrow - must face toward outside of vehicle.

• Replace in vehicle, refer to => [ Level Control System Sensor ] Level Control System Sensor.

• After replacing, perform basic setting for headlamps using the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system (VAS 5051).

• On vehicles with electronically-controlled damping (Audi magnetic ride), adapt the damping system using the (VAS 5051).
