Backrest Cover and Upholstery


Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.





1 Cover and Upholstery

Removing

- Remove the seat (manual) refer to => [ Front Manual Seat ] Front Manual Seat, seat (power), refer to => [ Power Seat ] Power Seat.

- Secure the seat on the (VAS 6136) => [ Front Seat, Installing on VAS 6136 ] Front Seat, Installing on VAS 6136.

- Remove the backrest adjustment wheel, refer to => [ Backrest Adjusting Wheel ] Backrest Adjusting Wheel.

- Remove the seat height adjustment handle, refer to => [ Seat Height Adjustment Handle ] Seat Height Adjustment Handle.

- Remove the sill side trim, mechanically adjustable seat, refer to=> [ Sill Side Trim ] Sill Side Trim, power seat, refer to=> [ Sill Side Trim ] Sill Side Trim.

- Remove the retaining bracket for the sill side trim.

- Remove the tunnel side trim, refer to => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] Tunnel Side Trim

- Remove the headrest, refer to refer to => [ Headrests with Locking Mechanism ] Headrests with Locking Mechanism.

- Remove headrest guides, refer to => [ Headrest Guide ] Headrest Guide.

- Remove the entry assistance.

- Remove the backrest cover, refer to refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Backrest Cover.

- Remove the backrest, refer to seat (manual) refer to => [ Backrest ] Backrest, seat (power), refer to => [ Power Seat ] Power Seat.

- Pry upper fastening strip - 2 - out with a screwdriver.

- Pry out side clamping strips - 3 - (quantity: 2) using a screwdriver.

- Pry off lower fastening strips - 6 - (quantity: 3) with a screwdriver.

- Open cable tie - 5 -.

- Remove connector - 4 -.

- Remove cover and upholstery - 1 -.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
