Lower C-Pillar Trim, Vehicles with Side Airbag

Removing


Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

- Remove rear side airbag.





- Unclip rear sill panel strip - 2 - in joint area to lower C-pillar trim - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.

- Carefully remove lower C-pillar trim - 1 - from upper C-pillar trim - 2 - from body and clip - 4 - from threaded pin - arrows -.





- Remove lower C-pillar trim.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• Replace damaged spring clamps.

- Pull door seal rubber lip - 3 - over lower C-pillar trim edge.

- Install rear side airbag.

- Install 2/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest ] Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest.

- Install 1/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview ] Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest Without Center Armrest Component Overview.

- Install the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Bench Seat.
