Antenna System

The antenna system consists of the window antennas and the roof antenna.

The roof antenna ( radio, telephone, navigation system antenna (R52) ) contains the:

• Navigation System Antenna (R50)

• Telephone antenna (R65)

• Satellite antenna (R170)

System with phase diversity (radio CAN/MMI from 11.03.2008)

• Antenna amplifier 3 (R112) (AM/FM1/FM2/CLS) on the left C-pillar (CAN)

• Antenna amplifier 3 (R112) (AM/FM1/TV3/CLS) on the left C-pillar (MMI)

• Antenna amplifier (R24) (FM2) on the rear lid at the top (CAN)

• Antenna amplifier (R24) (FM2/TV2) on top of the rear lid (MMI)

• Antenna amplifier 2 (R111) (DAB) on the right D-pillar

• Antenna amplifier 4 (R113) (TV1) on the right C-pillar (MMI)

• Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna (R52) (GPS/GSM/RC/SAT) roof antenna

System with switch diversity (MMI through 10.31.2008)

• Antenna amplifier 3 (R112) (HF/IF/TV1/CLS) behind the luggage compartment left side trim

• Antenna amplifier (R24) (FM2/TV2) on top of the rear lid

• Antenna amplifier 2 (R111) (DAB/VICS) on the right D-pillar

• Antenna amplifier 4 (R113) (FM3/TV3) on the right C-pillar

• Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna (R52) (GPS/GSM/RC/SAT) roof antenna
