MMI 2nd Generation Components

The audio output in the MOST system has many control modules which are interlinked with individual vehicle systems. These control modules communicate with each other via the different bus versions. The data bus on board diagnostic interface (J533), which is connected to all the different bus versions, processes the data and sends it to the control module.

• AWD vehicles also have rear ABS wheel speed sensors (G44, G46).

• The control modules shown below that are marked with an A are installed in MMI Basic and replace the front information display control head control module and the front information display control head in the MMI High marked with a B. In this system, the front information display control head control module is installed at media player position 1. There is also no navigation system with CD drive control module and no radio because these are already part of the front information display control head control module.

• The following control modules may be installed in the media player locations:

• Mini Disk Player (R153)
