Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

- Turn the light switch to the "0" position.

- Pry the instrument panel side cover - 1 - up using the (3409) - arrow - and remove it.

- Open the clip - arrow A - and move fuse panel C - 2 - in the - direction of arrow B - on the instrument panel central tube - 1 -.






- Reach through the opening on the side of the instrument panel and push the light switch - 1 - toward the rear and out of the instrument panel cover on the driver side - arrow -.






- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press the button unit into the switch housing until the lock mechanism engages.
