Headlamp Housing Mount

Removing






- Remove the headlamp housing:

• Halogen Headlamps: through MY 12, refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

• HID Headlamps: through MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

- Remove the appropriate front wheel housing liner.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the headlamp housing mount - 1 -.

Installing

• For the correct tightening specification, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing Mount Overview, through MY 2012 ] Headlamp Housing Mount Overview, Through MY 2012

- Insert the headlamp housing mount and install the bolts - arrows - and tighten by hand.

- Install the headlamp housing:






• Halogen Headlamps: through MY 12, refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

• HID Headlamps: through MY 12, refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

- Loosen the bolt - 2 - for the bracket - 3 - several turns.

- Align the headlamp housing - 1 - gap dimensions according to the body contours.

• Gap dimension = even gap dimension.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - while aligning the headlamp housing flush to the outer edge of the fender.






- Check gap dimensions again, repeat adjustment of gap dimensions if necessary, as described above.

- Install the wheel housing liner.

- Adjust headlamps. Refer to => [ Headlamps and Fog Lamps, Checking and Adjusting ] Adjustments.
