• Check the transmission control module (J217) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory using vehicle diagnosis tester before starting Guided Fault Finding.

• Additionally, check the event memory of the engine control device because errors from the engine control device can lead to transmission malfunction.

• Check the ATF level before starting Guided Fault Finding.

• Use "Guided Fault Finding" on the vehicle diagnosis tester.
