Removing





- Remove the hood lock. Refer to => [ Hood Lock, Removing and Installing ] Hood.

- Raise the retaining tab - 2 - - arrow A -.

- Disengage the hood switch (F266) - 1 - from the lock - 4 - - arrow B - and remove it.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• The guide pins - 3 - on the hood switch (F266) must fit correctly inside the hood lock.

- Install the hood lock. Refer to => [ Hood Lock, Removing and Installing ] Hood Assembly Overview.
