Hydraulic Cylinder

Remove the convertible top drive hydraulic cylinder

• The convertible top is closed.

- Remove the side trim on the main bearing..

- Disengage the hydraulic cylinder from the hydraulic cylinder.

- Move the bolt on the convertible top drive hydraulic cylinder upward 90° and remove it from the retaining fork.





- Unlock the lower locking spring, remove it and then remove the screw.

Remove the hydraulic cylinder bracket





- Open the convertible top half way.

- Unlock the locking spring - 1 - on the cylinder, move it to the side and remove the bolt.

- Press the C-pillar flap trim on the convertible top headliner between rail 3 and rail 4 to the side and remove the two screws on the pivot lever cover.

- Remove the cover from the pivot lever.

- Unlock the locking spring - 4 - on the fork head and move it to the side.

- Remove the bolt and guide the hydraulic cylinder out of the convertible top.


Protect the convertible top cover and the convertible top headliner from the hydraulic fluid.

- Remove the spring lock on the hydraulic lines, refer to => [ Remove Hydraulic Line from Cylinder ] Remove Hydraulic Line from Cylinder and then remove the supply and return lines from the cylinder.
