1 Hydraulic Pump

Removing

- Close the convertible top all the way.

- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel near the hydraulic pump..

- Disconnect the connectors on the pump.

- Remove the bracket on the pump.

- Remove the sound enclosure from the pump.

Before removing, place a cloth or a collector tray under the pump to catch any hydraulic fluid that may leak out.

- Loosen the filler plug to equalize the pressure and then tighten it to the tightening specification, refer to => [ (Item 7) Oil Filler Screw ] Motor and Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir.

- Remove the screws on the hydraulic lines.

- Carefully remove the hydraulic hoses from the valve block.

Installing

The numbers engraved into the valve block must match the numbers on the hydraulic lines.

- Insert the supply and return lines into the matching holes in the valve block and tighten them with locking screws.

- Connect the connectors on the pump.

- Position the pump so that is it possible to operate the power convertible top.

- Open and close the convertible top five times completely.

- Make sure the cylinder is functioning correctly and check the connections on the valve block for leaks.

- Check the fluid level and fill if necessary.
