Backrest Heating Element, Super Sport Seat

Removing






- Remove the cover with the cushion. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Cushion, Super Sport Seat ] Backrest Cover and Cushion, Super Sport Seat.

- Cover, separating from upholstery. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover, Removing from Cushion, Super Sport Seat ] Backrest Cover, Removing From Cushion, Super Sport Seat.

- Cut the electrical wire - 3 - off directly at the old backrest heating element - 2 -.

• The old backrest heating element remains on the upholstery - 1 - and the new backrest heating element is bonded over it.

Installing

- Align the new backrest heating element on the upholstery.

• Make sure the new backrest heating element is affixed to the old heating element.

• Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.

• When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

- Bond the backrest heating element - 2 - in sequence - B, A, C and D -.






- Route the connecting wires to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps - arrow -.

- Pull the wire - 3 - through the slit in the cushion - 1 -.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
