Seat Bench Heating Element

Removing





- Remove the seat bench cover and cushion. Refer to => [ Cover and Cushion, Seat Bench ] Cover and Cushion, Seat Bench.

- Cover, Separating from Upholstery, refer to => [ Seat Bench Cover, Separating from Upholstery ] Seat Bench Cover, Separating from Upholstery.

- Cut the electrical wire - 1 - off directly at the old seat bench heating element - 3 -.

The old seat bench heating element remains on the upholstery - 2 - and the new seat bench heating element is bonded over it.

Ignore the - arrows -.

Installation

- Align the new seat bench heating element on the upholstery.


Make sure the new seat bench heating element is affixed to the old heating element.

Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.

When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

- Begin bonding in the center area - B - of the seat bench heating element - 3 -.





- Then bond the upper area - C -.

- Route the connecting wires to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps - arrows - without crossing.

- Bon the rear area - A - of the heating surface.

- Pull the wire - 1 - through the slit in the cushion - 2 -.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
