Trim, Sill Side

Removal and Installation can be done with the seat installed.

Removing





- Bring seat as far up as possible.

- Remove the expanding rivet - 2 - on the trim on the sill side - 1 -.

The illustration shows a manual seat.

- Open the clip - 3 -.





- Unclip trim - 1 - on retaining bracket - 2 -.

- Remove the trim near the seat/backrest hinge.

- Pull the trim as far up from the retaining bracket - 2 - as the electrical wires allow.

Ensure bracket - 4 - is not damaged when removing trim.

- Disconnect the connector - 5 - on the lumbar support adjustment switch - 4 -.





- Disconnect the connector - 1 - on the seat adjustment control head assembly - 2 - and free up the wire.

- Vehicles with cabin heater: disconnect the connector on the cabin heater switch.

- Remove the trim on the sill side - 3 -.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Ensure that electrical connections are pushed in as far as stop and engage with a click.

Route the connectors and wires as illustrated.

Make sure the sill side trim is engaged correctly on retaining bracket and lock clip is closed.
