Fuel Level Sensor Connector Pin Assignment

- Disconnect the 5 pin electrical connector from the flange or fuel tank.

Terminal Assignment of the 5 Pin Connector for the Fuel Level Sensor (G)






1. Transfer fuel pump (G6) switched positive

2. Wire connection from the fuel level sensor to the instrument cluster (sensor mass) - pin 5

3. Wire connection from the fuel level sensor to the instrument cluster (fuel gauge) - pin 7

4. Wire connection from the fuel level sensor to the instrument cluster (fuel gauge) - pin 6

5. Transfer fuel pump ground


• Pins - 2, 3 and 4 - are looped through the fuel pump control module (J538).
