Transmission, Securing in Engine/Transmission Holder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hooks (10 - 222 A /2)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

• Bracket (T10358)

• Transmission Support (T40206) with (T40206/1)

• M8 x 30 bolt, nut, two washers

Procedure

• ATF drained and gear oil drained.

- Secure the (T40206) with (T40206/1) to the transmission as illustrated.






- Attach the (T10358) with the M8 x 30 bolt - 1 -, the nut and the two washers to the lifting eye on the right side of the transmission.

- Attach the (VAS 6100) and (T10358) to the (10 - 222 A /2).

- Lift the transmission and place it into the (VAS 6095).
