Rear Lid






1 - Rear lid

• Removing:

• Remove the emergency triangle and its mount.

• Remove rear lid cover.

• Disconnect electrical harness connectors and pull out of lid.

• Remove the nuts that connect both lid hinges to rear lid: => [ Remove the nut. Tightening
specification 21 Nm ]

• Second person is required to support and lift lid.

• Installing:

• Install in reverse order of removal.

2 - Hood hinge

• Note different versions

• Standard hinge:=> [ Standard Version ]

• Comfort hinge:=> [ Comfort Hinge ]

3 - Rubber stop

4 - Combination screw

• 21 Nm

5 - Hex nut

• 21 Nm

6 - Rear lid unlock release

• Installed in lid lock and lock cylinder.

7 - Emergency unlock release

• Not installed in all vehicles.

Striker Pin

- Remove the trim panel from the rear cross panel.

- Remove the nuts - 1 -. Tightening specification 8 Nm





- To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

Rear Lid, Adjusting





- Remove the trim panel from the rear cross panel.

• The gas-filled struts must be attached before installing a new rear lid.

- Loosen nuts - 1 -, striker pin- 2 - must be able to be moved.

- Carefully close rear lid until lid is flush with side panels.





- Carefully open lid and tighten nuts - 1 - to 8 Nm.
